According to officials, Hungary announced state of migration emergency as a “preventing step” for possible events happening in case of changing migration routes due to the current situation on the West Balkan.
The action is supposed to guarantee the Hungarians' safety but doesn't restrict citizens' rights, says statement. Officials also announced that Hungary strengthens safety of embassies in relation to migration influx and terrorism threats. It includes development of communication and safety systems, IT and satellite devices.
