SkillsHungary started Monday to see 214 students compete in 40 skilled profession types. The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organizes the competition for the ninth time.
5200 students applied for the competition, but only 214, from 110 schools and education centers, reached the final stage. This year, not only Hungarians are participating the event, but 12 students, coming from Upper Hungary, Trancarpathia and Vojvodina, as well. They compete in nine professions.
Officials stated at the opening event how important was skilled work for economic competitiveness. That's why Hungary is proud to organize EuroSkills in 2019.
