Silent Germans Acknowledges Hungary

There are strong efforts to demonize the country

According to Minister of Human Capacities Zoltan Balog, there are many Germans who agrees with Hungary, but they remain silent.

Mr Balog was awarded one of the most prestigious German human rights awards, the Rainer Hildebrandt Medal this week, acknowledging his work with relation to the social inclusion of Hungary’s Roma minority and his role in counseling refugees from the GDR in 1989.

Thanks to the award, he had the chance to observe how the public feels, and come to conclusion that many of them actually agreed with Hungary, but they didn’t say it loud. However, he also talked about a strong effort make Hungary the bad guy.
