Sandor Pinter and Nebojsa Stefanovic, the Hungarian Minister of Interior and the Serbian Minister of Interior, respectively, met the Serbian-Hungarian border-town, Roszke, to discuss joint actions regarding illegal migration.
Mr Pinter declared that they agreed on the problems caused by mass migration and that illegal migration would remain a major problem in the near future. “Border protection requires cooperation with Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia and especially with Austria”, he said.
Mr. Stefanovic said that authorities of both countries were cooperating and Serbia has been in continuous discussions with the EU member states, especially with regard to the introduction of tighter border crossing regulations by Austria.
