PM Viktor Orban announced Wednesday that each security measures will be kept at the current level or will be increased after the Brussels attacks.
Mr Orban said that officials talked through the situation, current security measures and came to the decision to hold the terror alert in Hungary on level II, meaning that Counter Terrorism Centre (TEK) is on full alert, police forces still have to keep the increased level of surveillance at metro stations and airports.
He also stressed that Hungary needed to make technology improvements in intelligence to step onto the same level as the countries with the most advanced intelligence agencies. “We'll purchase new technologies and educate our forces”, said PM Orban.
