György Bakondi, Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, has confirmed that the perpetrators of the 13 November terrorist attacks in Paris and the 22 March terrorist attacks in Brussels had previously spent varying lengths of time in Hungary.
Salah Abdeslam for eg had been to Hungary three times. In cooperation with the French and Belgian partners, authorities have been investigating that around ten terrorists used forged passports as they spent several days in Budapest, where they acquired money and traveled further, Mr Bakondi said.
