The volume of retail sales increased in August 2016 by 5.8 percent year-on-year, reported KSH.
The given amount doubles double the average EU growth rate, and it's been the 38th month in a row to experience an expanding trend. In the initial eight months of the year, the volume of retail sales was up by 5 percent year-on-year.
Calendar-adjusted data showed a year-on-year increase of 4.3 percent in August. Since January 2010 and the beginning of 2014, the volume of retail sales grew by 17 percent and 14.0 percent, respectively.
