Budapest’s Koki Terminal was on sale for the second time, but as it received bids far lower than the preferred sale price, the sale was repeatedly unsuccessful.
The mall is a 220,000 sqm building offering only 70,000 sqm of leasable space. So in spite of its favourable location, the final stop of Metro Line 3, the highest bid was approximately HUF 8 bn this time. It's significantly lower than the liquidator's offer (HUF 27 bn).
The building was built for HUF 40 bn, and the liquidator offered HUF 35 billion for it at the first time.
