Officials say that Hungary has spent two billion HUF more than it was scheduled on medical expanses due to mass migration. In the meantime, officials also announced that “quota system has the same medical risks as migration flows”.
Since the security fence is up and running, pandemic threat is lower, but as over 40000 claims has asked Hungary to get back migrants, officials believe, it will rise again. “Migrants have different bacterial flora and lots of them are not vaccinated”, said Attila Beneda Deputy State Secretary. “Hungary has already spent 350 million HUF on curing migrants”, he added.
