President Janos Ader sent back to the Hungarian Parliament the proposed act on the National Building Societies (NOK) as it “contains unclear and contradictory provisions”.
According President Ader, supporting family home creations is a worthy one for state funding, and that surely needs clear and transparent legislation to guarantee the participants' rights and strict over-watch of the process.
However, he said, the propesed act, in its current form, didn’t meet such requirements as it “contains unclear and contradictory provisions” regarding legal status, organization and operation of the NOK.
The Hungarian Parliament now has to go through the whole proposal again, make some corrections if they believe it's necessary, and then vote one more time.
