Famous university town of Southern Hungary, Pécs wins UNESCO award.
UNESCO awarded 16 cities with the Global Learning City Award this year, and Pécs is the first Hungarian city to receive this title. With this award the international organization recognizes and showcases good practice in promoting quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all at local level.
