WDSF World Championship Formation Standard has started at Pecs with 13 dance groups from nine countries.
The 2016 World Formation Standard was initially organized by Minsk, but the city had withdrawn by citing lack of support from the Belarus government, and Pecs saved the day with applying to host.
“The competition has arrived to the right place as Hungary is a big fish in culture and sports, as well. said State Secretary Peter Hoppal at the opening event.
13 dance groups from nine countries competed for the trophy at Pecs on 4 December.
