Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban sent a letter to his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu to mark Israel’s independence day.
According to Orban, over the past seven years Hungary and Israel have developed a wide-ranging and successful cooperation, Kormany.hu reports. The prime minister reminded Netanyahu of his “historic” visit to Budapest in July 2017, which in his opinion was the highlight of their outstanding partnership to date, adding that he hopes to reciprocate the visit in the near future.
