According to Central Bank of Hungary (MNB), Hungary won't be in danger of a housing bubble as it has tools to intervene.
Macroprudential instruments will be used in case of emerging housing bubble problems, said MNB in a paper dealing with housing bubble problems. MNB introduced debt-brake rules from the start of 2015 and a countercyclical capital buffer to mitigate excessive credit outflow from the start of 2016, said MNB.
