Eurpope can't enjoy any security without a stable Iraq, said Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto after a joint meeting with Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari.
“The stability of Iraq is one of the most important issues with regard to the security of Europe. Iraq is fighting a crucial battle against the Islamic State, without whose eradication we cannot talk about peace in any corner of the world and there will be no solution to the immigration crisis either”, Mr Szijjarto said. The ministers talked through the necessity of strengthening the EU-Iraq cooperation for Europe’s peace and security.
