In accordance with the request of President of the Republic Janos Ader, during the past few days Prime Minister Viktor Orban has been holding consultations on the formation of the new government, Kormany.hu reports.
The prime minister is recommending Zsolt Semjen for the post of Deputy Prime Minister responsible for National Policy, Church Affairs and Nationalities, Sandor Pinter for the post of Interior Minister, Mihaly Varga as Finance Minister, Tibor Benko as Minister of Defence, and Andrea Bartfai-Mager as Minister without Portfolio for National Wealth.
Orban has invited Laszlo Palkovics to be the new Minister for Innovation and Technology, Gergely Gulyas to be Minister heading the Prime Minister’s office, Antal Rogan to be Minister heading the Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister, and Laszlo Trocsanyi to continue his role as Justice Minister.
The Prime Minister is recommending Istvan Nagy as Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development, Peter Szijjarto for the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Miklos Kasler as Minister for Human Capacities, and Janos Suli to serve as Minister without Portfolio for the expansion of the Paks Nuclear Power Plant.
