Budapest Airport set up a record in the number of travelling passengers with reaching one million mark.
One million passengers travelled through Budapest Airport in May, hitting the milestone two months earlier than last year, says Budapest Airportʼs presser.
The growth could be partially thanked to the number of new routes. Plus, eight of Budapestʼs largest carriers registered their highest number of passengers in May. “Reaching yet another momentous threshold, and so early in the year, is a tremendous achievement for us and a direct result of our commitment to increase our choice of passenger connectivity,” said CEO, Budapest Airport, Jost Lammers in the press release.
