More police members and soldiers are on the Hungarian streets to calm people. They also have real munitions.

According to Chief Security Advisor of the Prime Minister Gyorgy Bakondi, the Hungarian government has strengthened defensive actions due to terror attacks in Paris last week. Lots of police members and soldiers are deployed to supervise public spaces, for eg. bus and train stations, subway lines and airports.

In the meantime, Hungary increased its cooperation with other countries' intelligence agencies. “EU-wide information sharing has been intensified since Paris attacks”, said Mr Bakondi.
