The Hungarian Family Home Grant (CSOK) has become available for more people as the Hungarian government introduced new rules that widens the types of applying families.
According to State Secretary Katalin Novak, one of the most important changes than children can count as credit decreasing factors up to the age of 25, and his ongoing or ceased student status doesn't affect the credit claim. As for foetuses, it will be considered from week 12 instead of week 24, as it was before. There are many rules introduced regarding family members, proprietor status and type of flats.
All actions aims to increase the Hungarian birth rate.
