Tourism sector is off to a good start this year with a dynamic growth in the number of tourism nights by domestic guests continued in the first month of 2016, reports Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH).
Last year lots of tourism indicators broke records, and according to KSH report, this year also promises to be a highlight. The number of international arrivals grew in eight out of the altogether nine Hungarian regions.
The number of guests increased by six percent in January 2016, including the 6.1 percent rise of the night spent by Hungarians and the 5.8 percent rise of the night spent by foreigner tourists.
