The Hungarian foreign minister rejected the criticism of his Luxembourgian counterpart.
Luxembourgian Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn “hates Hungary”; he is a politician who is a fanatic supporter of immigration, and who is playing according to George Soros’s beat, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto said in a statement to Hungarian news agency MTI on Monday, Kormany.hu reports.
He was reacting to a statement by Jean Asselborn in Monday’s online edition of German liberal daily Der Tagesspiegel, according to which he said with relation to the Stop Soros legislative package: “The EU must stand up and be outraged” and activate Article 7.
“Jean Asselborn is an idiot, but the Hungarians are not; the people of Hungary have no need of the Luxembourgian Foreign Minister’s crazy ideas to know what’s good for them”, he stated.
