Hungary's Central Statistical Office (KSH) registered 1.1 percentage points lower deficit in Q1 and Q2 than in the same period 2015.
According to KSH reports, general government deficit in the first half of 2016 was HUF 122.8 billion, or 0.7 percent of GDP according to preliminary data. Last year, deficit was HUF 184.9 billion more, or 1.1 percentage points higher.
