Border control agencies are fully prepared for entry into force of reinforced legal border closure, announced Ministry of Interior.
The new legal border closure will come to the effect on 28 March 2017. The personal and material conditions necessary for its implementation has been already available.
The police, defense forces and the Immigration and Asylum Office have made the necessary preparations for the implementation of the required measures, the enlargement of the Roszke and Tompa transit zones. The transit zones are currently capable of accommodating 100 people but their capacity can be increased. In total, 324 shipping container homes have been installed at the two locations.
