The scholarship programme for residents wants to convince young doctors to stay in Hungary.
Some 917 specialist candidates applied successfully for this years residents' scholarship programme, so altogether already 3400 residents stayed in Hungary thanks to the programme, the Ministry of Human Capacities announced on Friday. The goal of the various specialized scholarship programmes is to make it possible for young doctors to stay in Hungary instead of working in Western Europe.
