Volume of industrial output rose again in this February. After a temporary slow down in January, the numbers rose by 6.3 percent year-on-year, meaning the sector posted output growth of altogether 3 percent in the initial two months of this year, announced the Hungarian Central Statistics Office Wednesday,
Among major industrial sectors, manufacturing posted output growth of 7.5 percent in February, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. Based on numbers, the Ministry for National Economy is expecting further expansion in the sector.
Growth was registered in ten out of the altogether thirteen manufacturing sub sectors. In addition, the volume of industrial exports rose by 8.5 percent in comparison to February last year.
