Longer queues will be waiting for Sziget Festival goers as the new security system will be established due to the current terrorism threat.
The award-winning festival will return to Budapest between August 10-17 with increased security measures. According to the organizers' presser, similar system will be used as the security systems at the airports. “When festivalgoers arrive, they need to show their tickets and we connect the ticket and the person's armband to the correct identity details”, said lead organizer Karoly Gerendai, adding that everyone could only be able to enter through a camera supported security system.
