International statistics also prove that the Hungarian health care is improving, says State Secretary.
The financing of health care has changed in Hungary since 2010 and the significant improvement is also reflected in OECD's latest Health at a Glance 2016 report, State Secretary Bence Retvari told MTI on Sunday. He reminded that before the Fidesz-KNDP government was elected in 2010, the health care's budget was drastically decreasing, but then it was raised by the 1,5 per cent of the GDP. Mr Retvari pointed out that in Hungary 99 per cent of the children are vaccinated against the most common diseases, while the EU average is only 96 per cent.
