The 2016 European Table Tennis Championships has started in Tuskecsarnok arena, Budapest. 250 athletes from 44 countries compete in the championships.
According to the organizers, Hungary is very proud the host the championships, especially that altogether seven Hungarian athletes got the chance to compete in mixed doubles.
Hungary hosted the tournament two times previously, in 1958 and 1982.
