Janos Lazar, the Minister heading the Prime Minister’s Office, officially announced Thursday at his weekly presser, that the ISIS targeted Hungary, so the government had increased responsibility in counter terrorism.

He stressed the Hungarian government takes the ISIS’ threats concerning very seriously and do everything to guarantee all Hungarians' safety.

The Brussels attacks and the new threat concerning Hungary led to a general meeting among the parliamentary parties to discuss counter terrorism action plan. The Friday meeting will clarify what kinds of tools and devices can be used by police forces in counter terrorism.

“Currently, Europe is concerned about terrorism, so there is a quota silence”, said Mr Lazar, adding that mass migration increases threat and risk of terrorism, so Hungary still strongly opposes the quota system.
