Austrian companies like Hungary because of its geographical closeness and investor-friendly environment.
“Austrian companies like Hungary, and not just because of its geographical proximity, but also as a result of the investor-friendly environment”, State Secretary Laszla Szabo from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade told Hungarian following a business forum at the Hungarian Embassy in Vienna.
Austrian enterprises invested EUR 8 bln in 2014 and EUR 12 bln in Hungary. “Austria has always been one of the largest investors in Hungary”, Mr Szabo added.
