Minister of Interior Sandor Pinter met Swedish Minister for Justice and Migration Morgan Johansson, in the Ministry of Interior in Budapest to discuss EU’s current asylum policy.
The ministerial talks focused on the appropriate control of the EU external borders, asylum-related solidarity and accountability, and implementation of Dublin transfers. Mr. Pinter explained the details of the asylum proceedings being conducted in the transit zones on the Hungarian borders, and introduced the Hungary's draft proposal package on illegal migrants.
