According to officials Hungary and Poland are mutually dependent on each other, as they have “similar experiences” in certain issues.

“We inevitably share each other’s points of view, as we have similar experiences and the same view on certain issues”, said Government Spokesperson Zoltan Kovacs commenting on the close relations between the two countries. “There are many similarities in the past, present and future of the two nations”, he added.

Mr Kovacs mentioned migration, regional economic issues and energy security as examples of the “certain” fields where Hungary was on the same page with Poland.
