Prime Minister Viktor Orban ensured former Macedonian PM Nikola Gruevski that they can count on Hungary's friendship and support.
Macedonia can count on Hungary's support for its EU and NATO membership, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said after meeting former Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski in Budapest. Mr Orban emphasized that the outcome of the upcoming elections is in the hands of the Macedonian voters, but one thing is sure, the country can count on Hungary's friendship. Both Macedonia and Hungary belongs to the West, he added. Mr Orban reminded that during Gruevski's government bilateral relations reached an unprecedented level, a real and honest friendship between the two countries. Mr Gruevski called Hungary one of his country's main allies and emphasized the high level of cooperation.
