Marton Fucsovics stoke back in horror to stun the Slovakian Martin Klizan at Europe/Africa Zone Group II of the regional Davis Cup competition to reach the playoff for the first time since 1995.
The 159-ranked Fucsovics played 6:3, 3:6, 3:6, 5:7 with the top 40 player Klizan. Previously, Fucsovics and Attila Balazs beat the Martin Klizan – Andrei Martin pair Saturday, and Fucsovics also won his Friday match against Josef Kovalik, meaning that Hungary won this round 3:1. So Hungary will participate in the playoff in September for the first time since 1995.
