Janos Pinter, Minister of Interior has reduced the level of terror alert in Hungary to the intermediate level, called Level 3.
As the Ministry's statement says, “as of 1 PM today, Tuesday 29 March 2016, terror alert Level 3 (intermediate) is in place”. Previously it was announced that Hungary had to keep the alert level on Level 2 until officials clarified the exact circumstances of the Brussels attacks and its potential further strands.
It was also announced that Hungary was in no imminent danger according to the current intelligence information.
