Hungary participates in helping Ecuador after the recent, deadly earthquake. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade will provide emergency aid to the country.

Ecuador gladly receives every financial aid as the emergency rescue work is very much needed in the earthquake-affected regions.

In addition to financial aid, a Hungarian rescue team has already worked on site. The six-person team arrived with three specially trained dogs on 19 April to help to find survivors during the shattered ruins. Their unit now works under the umbrella of international rescue efforts following last week's the devastating earthquake.
