The Hungarian economy growth was above the EU average in 2016 with 2 percent of GDP.
According to the latest reports, the GDP increased by 1.6 percent year-on-year and by 0.4 percent, quarter-on-quarter in Q4 2016. In the year 2016, GDP rose altogether 2 percent, driven by the agricultural and market services sector.
The rate of altogether growth was achieved without the inflow of EU funding.
