Investment from India is a very important factor for development of Hungarian industry, PM Orbán told India's vice-president.
There is not enough workforce in Hungary, we are close to full employment, so the technological niveau of the Hungarian industry needs to be raised and for that we need investments from India as well, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said when welcoming India's vice-president, Mohammad Hamid Ansari. He also said that Hungary seeks India's help in reviving its defence industry and set up a joint working group of technology to explore possible cooperation between the two nations. Referring to the Apollo Tyres' Euro 475 million investment in a green field project, Mr Orbán said it is one of the largest foreign investments in Hungary.
