Monday Hungary commemorated the victims of the coach accident in Italy with a national day of mourning.
The day started with the ceremonial event of hoisting and lowering to half-must the flag of Hungary with military honours. A black flag is displayed on specific public buildings, and the flag of Hungary and the European flag is lowered to half-mast everywhere. Schools also commemorate the tragedy with special talks during normal classes or other special student events.
