The Hungarian Parliament cleared to way to challenge EU mandatory quota that says Hungary has to take in migrants.
Mandatory quota obligate EU countries to share 160000 migrants but experts say, with the current amount of migration influx, it won't be enough. According to the newly accepted bill. the quota “ignores the (EU's) principle of subsidiarity and fails to grant national parliaments the opportunity to express their opinion”.
Justice Minister Laszlo Trocsanyi announced that the case will be filed at European Court of Justice in December.
Hungary is not alone with its legal action, Slovakia has already said it will file a case against the quota system.
