According to the Hungarian Army, if it's needed, 6000 soldiers can be deployed to the Southern borders in a few hours.
Currently, 2000 soldiers serve on the Southern border. Officials say that the possible deployment won't affect the Army forces' other tasks, as not everybody would be deployed in case of emergency. Forces on air surveillance and defense teams, locator groups, signal center employees and hospital workers will still continue their usual work.
