As EU leaders approved a migration agreement, Hungary may achieve its most important goal, said Government Spokesperson Zoltan Kovacs Friday.
EU leaders approved the draft version at the summit, Hungary had no obligation as taking in migrants should get a go on a voluntary base. However, even though the agreements theoretical foundations have been outlined, the final text has not yet been formulated, he added.
Mr. Kovacs also talked about the closure of the Western Balkans route, and that it was proved to be effective. Although the EU should also make an agreement with not only Turkey but other countries, as well.
