Hungary commemorated the 60th anniversary of 4 November 1956 when the USSR troops invaded the country to strike off the revolution,
Hungary’s national flag was hoisted and then lowered to half-mast with military honours on Kossuth Square to mark the event. The ceremony was attended by President Janos Ader, representatives of political parties, military and state bodies, as well as several members of the diplomatic corps.
