The vast majority of Hungarians reject the mandatory quota according to Századvég's poll.
According to the most recent poll of Századvég Foundation, 70 % of Hungarians reject the mandatory, automatic resettlement of refugees in the European Union and 78 % will vote no at the quotareferendum in October. Only 3 % said that they will vote yes. Those who will vote no, explained their choice mainly with their wish for sovereignty: 61 % said that it's the right of the Hungarian people to decide who they want to live with. 36% of the small minority of yes-voters said that they even though they don't agree with the European Commission's quota plan, they don't support the government's policy. 60% expects the victory of the no-votes and even the majority of the yes-voters predicts their own defeat.
