20 Hungarian police officers set to the Serbian-Bulgarian border to help to the local forces in border control.
The 20 members contingent will protect the Serbian-Bulgarian border along with the local forcer, announced National Police Chief Karoly Papp. He stressed that external Schengen borders must be protected and the related necessary measures and resources must be coordinated.
Since 2015, Hungary has provided police assistance to a number of countries in border protection, including Serbia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Greece.
