The Hungarian Parliament stated to discuss the anti-terrorism legislation package Wednesday. It serves “security of the Hungarians” and “strengthen defense abilities of police and anti-terrorism forces”, say officials.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the government has paid high attention to the recent terrorism attacks throughout Europe, and it came to the conclusion that security measures must be added to the current actions based on Brussels' experience.
Karoly Kontrat, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Interior, stated that uncontrolled migration influx might lead to similar terror attacks, so security measures should be added regarding illegal migration, as well.
