Since the Western Balkan countries closed its borders, illegal migration has significantly increased on the Hungarian borders. Since the EU-Turkey, it has showed even bigger numbers. 200 people were arrested as illegal migrants during only the weekend.
According to the Hungarian police forces, they captured 53 people Friday, 100 people Saturday and 66 people Sunday whereas during the first weeks of 2016 around ten persons had to be arrested daily.
As for their nationality, it's very mixed. Lots of people say they are Afghans, Iranians, Pakistanis or coming from somewhere North Africa, Haiti or Sri Lanka.
Experts say, the increasing number of illegal migrants shows that human traffickers currently look for new pathways for illegal migration.
