The Foreign Minister emphasised the importance of political solution in Syria.
The situation seems to be hopeless in Syria, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said at the meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council in Luxembourg. According to the minister even though the prospect of the political solution seems to be distant, member states made it clear that this is the only way to peace. ”Hungary thinks that if the situation in Syria is not changing, Europe will lose because of the increasing migration influx”, he added.
