State Secretary Csaba Dömötör talked to the public television about the most important tax and wage changes of this year.
The Hungarian middle class and the whole economy can strengthen as a long term consequence of the wage raise, Csaba Dömötör, parliamentary state secretary of the PM's Cabinet Office told public channel M1. He added that the economy's growth can reach 4 percents this year, and this is a guarantee that the wages will be raised. Among the other important changes he mentioned that the tax on internet and restaurant services will decrease from 27 to 18 percent, and the tax on milk, poultry and eggs to 5 percent. Mr Dömötör emphasised the importance of families raising children, adding that the tax reduction of families with two children will rise to 30.000 HUF.
