The Hungarian government plans major development programs in healthcare.
We made an alliance in healthcare, Hungarian Minister of Human Capacities, Zoltan Balog told Monday. According to Mr Balog the government has spent HIF 500 bn on the renovation and development of hospitals in the countryside in the last three-four years. In Europe Hungarians spend the most time in hospitals, so now the government is planning public health programs, prevention, development of the family doctor system to decrease this time. Mr Balog spoke about the new hospital system in Budapest too, three hospitals will be developed and a new hospital will be built.
